Edwardian Conservatory Installation Example

Mr and Mrs Edwards came to us not only wanting to take replace there old 20 year old aluminium conservatory with a new larger one they didn’t want to lose patio space which the had gained by having the garden cut out previously. The option was to cut more of the garden out by use of a mini digger and build new steps and retaining wall as well as having a new patio laid. The installation started by carefully taking down existing conservatory and breaking up the existing concrete pad base, we also took down the old existing brick retaining walls which had begun to deprecate. After 6 skips we managed to remove enough soil to make the patio area large enough for use, we had dug footings and poured with concrete and then with brick which we had matched to the property built the dwarf walls for the conservatory and the retaining walls in the garden. The final week whilst the conservatory was being installed we laid all new patio slabs and as you can see from the photographs this not only opened up the rear of the property for more usage but completely transformed the back of the house. Finally when conservatory was installed we went back in and bricked up an old door and installed a new set of French doors, a window above a cavity wall with internal sill, plastered and fixed in a new radiator

The images below show before and after of all aspects of the work undertaken by Realistic in the supply and installation of a new Edwardian Conservatory together with assiciated groundworks, Bricklaying, Landscaping and paving.
