Our clients in Plymouth wanted to transform the rear of their dormer bungalow with a modern conservatory that not only looked stylish but also provided comfort throughout the year. After browsing our brochure, they instantly fell in love with the Edwardian Conservatory Ultrasky design – the perfect balance of elegance and practicality.

Design & Installation

To accommodate the property’s roofline, we used a 265mm box gutter system, enabling water collection from both the main roof and the conservatory roof. Although this restricted some roof style options, the double-hipped Edwardian design proved ideal.

Key features included:

• Full internal pelmet with LED downlights, creating the impression of a flat roof with a central lantern.

• Aluminium-clad insulated columns to boost thermal performance.

• Columns internally adapted to support vertical radiant heaters, ensuring effective and efficient heating.

This combination allowed the space to feel like a true extension of the home rather than a traditional conservatory.

The Results

The completed Ultrasky conservatory provides a comfortable, bright, and versatile living area. Thanks to the energy-efficient design, the room maintains an even temperature year-round and remains quiet during heavy rain.
