PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Edwardian Orangery Conservatory

We have recently completed this stunning double-hipped Edwardian Orangery style installation, a perfect blend of classic styling and modern performance. The exterior is finished in anthracite grey PVCu, perfectly complemented by aluminium-clad super-insulated columns in the matching grey, while the interior is finished in white, maximising brightness and creating a fresh, airy feel.

The design incorporates six super-insulated columns, a 600mm internal pelmet, and an Aluminium decorative Cornice gutter, all combining to give the structure elegance and substance. Both the roof system and columns were supplied by Ultraframe, ensuring high-quality performance and reliability.

For the roof glazing, our clients selected Activ Sunshade Blue glass from Pilkington’s with an 83% solar rejection, which reduces glare and solar heat gain while still providing the room with soft, natural light. Internally, the plastered pelmet creates the feel of a true extension, with space to integrate lighting and enhance the ambience.

As part of our full service, we managed the entire project from start to finish — including groundworks, electrical installation, and plastering — ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience and an exceptional finished result.

Customer Testimonial

We adore our new space it makes the house brighter and lighter. We sit in it all the time. The guys that came to install it were fantastic and very professional. The product is well made, and we love the colour. The room is used more than any other in the house. Our only gripe was the office communication. Not quite good enough. They did not keep us in the picture as much as we would have liked.
