PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Edwardian Orangery Style Conservatory

Edwardian Orangery Style Conservatory – Our customers initially contacted us to build a conservatory including base at the back of their home in Efford, Plymouth. They then feel in love with the concept of having a Conservatory that looked like an Orangery and decided to have an Ultrasky Roof.

The Ultrasky Roof from Ultraframe is a modern, high-performance lantern-style glazed roof system. It’s designed to bring maximum natural light into an extension, or orangery while still offering excellent thermal efficiency.

Key points about the Ultrasky Roof:

  • Lantern design – creates a striking architectural feature, with slim sightlines for a modern look.

  • More glass, less frame – lets in more natural light compared to traditional conservatory roofs.

  • Thermally efficient – uses high-performance glazing to help keep rooms warm in winter and cool in summer.

  • Strong and versatile – can be fitted on large spans without bulky support beams, giving a more open feel.

  • Customisable – available in different sizes, colours, and glazing options to suit the style of the home.

It’s especially popular for Conservatory Styled  Orangeries, where homeowners want a wow factor roof lantern look that adds both light and style, without having a flat roof.
