Georgian PCVu Windows – Case Study
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Georgian PCVu Windows – Case Study
Georgian PCVu Windows – Mr. and Mrs. M’s charming Cornwall cottage was fitted with aging double-glazed windows that no longer complemented the property’s aesthetic. The homeowners wanted an upgrade that improved both the appearance and energy efficiency of their home.
Works Undertaken:
-
Small building works, including constructing a wall to reduce the size of a window.
-
Internal plastering to ensure a seamless finish.
Products Installed:
-
Windows: White PVCu Halo Rustique windows with internal multi-way Georgian inserts, maintaining the character of the cottage while providing A+ rated thermal efficiency.
-
Doors: Apeer 70mm composite front doors in Chartwell Green, paired with a matching composite stable door at the rear.
Outcome:
The combination of carefully selected windows and doors transformed the cottage’s exterior, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and improving energy efficiency without compromising its traditional charm.
