Modern Extension – Our clients approached us looking to create a larger, brighter kitchen space that would flow naturally into the rest of their home. They wanted a modern extension that offered year-round comfort while blending seamlessly with the property’s existing character.

The Build

This project was constructed under local authority control to ensure full compliance with building regulations. The extension was built using a Durabase+ foundation system, chosen for its efficiency and minimal disruption compared to traditional methods.

We installed aluminium insulated columns and Halo white 70mm frames, which not only provide excellent thermal performance but also deliver a clean, modern finish. The roof features the UltraRoof system with Terra brick tiles, giving the extension the look of a traditional tiled roof while offering advanced insulation and quick installation.

The project was completed to a turnkey finish, with full plastering, electrics, and cavity trays, ensuring the space was ready to use from day one.

The Result

The extension has transformed the property by significantly enlarging the kitchen area and creating a light-filled, versatile living space. The UltraRoof’s insulation ensures the room remains comfortable throughout the seasons, making it a genuinely all-year-round addition to the home.
