PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Victorian Tiled Warm Roof – Green Frames – Case Study
Victorian Tiled Warm Roof with Green Frames – Mr. and Mrs. McAleer wanted to update their conservatory. They didn’t like the Rosewood windows they inherited when they bought their home and wanted a more modern, energy-efficient look.
Our Solution
We installed an Ultraroof from Ultraframe with Harvest Brown slates. The roof works beautifully with the Chartwell Green-on-white Halo conservatory frames, giving the home a fresh, stylish look.
We kept the existing base but carried out cavity tray lead work because the previous installation was done incorrectly. The cavity trays were essential because the property is in a Type 4 Severe Weather region and the main house has external brick walls. This ensures that rainwater is properly directed away from the building, preventing leaks and water damage.
Our team also handled the plastering, and electrical work
Roof Benefits
The Ultraroof offers several advantages:
-
Energy Efficiency: Keeps the conservatory warm in winter and cool in summer, reducing energy bills.
-
Strength & Durability: Lightweight yet strong, designed to last for decades.
-
Quiet Comfort: Reduces rain and hail noise compared to traditional glass roofs.
-
Design Flexibility: Available in a range of colors and finishes to suit the home.
-
Increased Property Value: Creates a usable, comfortable space that adds value to the home.
Result
