WHAT IS A STRUCTURAL GOAL POST?

The Ultraframe structural goal post is a pioneering technological system that works with the Ultrasky roofGlass Roof and Livinroof. The purpose of the goal post is to alleviate roof deflection on your doors and large expanses of glass, thus allowing you to have larger spans of doors without inserting support posts in the middle. The frame is hidden from view resulting in desirable sightlines, allowing you to open your bi-folding doors the whole width of the extension.

The lightweight frame means it’s easy for our installers to move the product while on site, streamlining the speed of work on-site significantly. To maximise the aesthetic impact of your new room, the goal post can be hidden within brick piers or super insulated columns.

THE GOALPOST SYSTEM

This goalpost system has been designed specifically to accommodate builds of scale and is compatible with structures up to 8.5m by 5.6m in width.

A total unsupported span of 6m is achievable when you choose to install a Ultrasky Roof, Glass Roof or Livinroof (including the structural goalpost) with sliding or bi-fold doors.
