Excellent work carried out by the Realistic team. Everything done as expected and the site left clean and tidy at completion of work. We would definitely use this company again.

We thought renewing our ageing wooden lean to conservatory would be a daunting task, but not with Realistic! Ryan visited at the outset (he knows his stuff) and we agreed on an Ultraframe with rosewood finish and ultra grey slate solid roof. We agreed a price and were kept informed of progress. Surveyor Dave attended and produced detailed plans. We knew there would be a fair wait before work could commence. The build team of Chris and Matt who have been working together for the past twenty years arrived; demolished the existing conservatory, ready to build the new Ultraframe on the existing walls. They were brilliant, there speed and quality of work, tidiness and approachability was second to none. Plasterer Brian made an excellent job of the interior ceiling. Chris and Matt also fitted a sliding door to our rear porch and promptly carried out a bit of snagging to the conservatory We are extremely pleased with the finished article and cannot fault the whole work team, including Jen and Dean in the office.

Ryan and Jen at Realistic Home Improvements were really attentive throughout our project and provided clear information, updates and advice throughout. The finished windows and patio doors, all of which are unique with floating mullions and astragal bars, look great and were installed without fuss. We will have more windows and doors to replace in the future and would have no hesitation to repeat our custom with Realistic Home Improvements. Lovely to get a nice review but we wouldn't get them if it wasn't for our installers.

Ryan Barrett visited my property and produced all the CADS whilst he was there and it all looked amazing. Ryan was very honest and confident that the small area I had would work and make the perfect dining room/sun lounge area. He was true to his word as the area has made an amazing difference and have been able to place my existing dining furniture perfectly. When the works started in October, 22 the groundworks team were amazing (Ben and Graham) so hardworking and conscious about the level of upheaval. Then Chris and Matt took over with the build and again amazing and dedicated workers. There was great continuity and the Plasterer, Brian, his work was amazing too and great comments were made by my visiting friends. I’m more than pleased with the extra room as it has made so much difference having that extra space which feels so much bigger than I thought it was going to be. So a huge thank you to Ryan and all his team for being amazing perfectionists as anything less was not acceptable in their eyes and if there was an issue that arose there was always a solution. I decided to contact Realistic as they were listed as a Which recommended supplier. I'm in North Devon and they are in the South which was one of my reservations. I met with Ryan during the Covid pandemic to discuss the installation of a conservatory/orangery. I was impressed by the meeting and Ryan was extremely thorough, clearly an expert in his field and went through many options both in terms of the build and materials. Some time after the meeting I made some changes to my requirements and Ryan insisted on coming back to make sure that he understood what I was wanting I felt confident in the ability of Realistic to deliver what I was looking for and at a better price than local competitors without compromising on quality. Work started just a little later than was originally scheduled which wasn't an issue; parts were taking longer to come through the supply chain and Realistic kept me informed. The build team were highly competent, professional, polite and friendly. They dug out the site ready for the installation and it took quite a while before work on the build commenced. There were challenges along the way with the supplier not providing the right parts for the roof which incurred a further short delay. My build included the digging out of a new soak away through solid clay/stone/soil in scorching hot temperatures and still the team remained cheerful. The electrical installation team were also absolutely on point as were the plasterers. It was nice to have a Realistic project manager (Tony) who was really helpful throughout. Once the build was complete Ryan came back for a visit to see the installation and to gather my feedback. Yes, there were some delays during the build, but we were living in the height of the pandemic and supplies were taking longer than normal so this was not an issue. A year on, I raised a query via the Admin email box who responded immediately and have taken steps to resolve my query to my satisfaction. From a customer point of view, the fact that I was located on one coast of Devon and Realistic are on the other had no impact on me but it did mean that the teams involved were travelling and working long hours. All in all I would recommend Realistic

We are delighted with our new conservatory. We had the old one removed and a new one installed in just 3 days and the quality & workmanship was superb. Highly recommended!

Many we take the opportunity to thank Realistic for an amazing professional service replacing our damaged conservatory roof and also all the glass in our SMART system bifold doors as well as repairing the alignment on both sets of bifolds. Ryan believed he could repair the structure and our faith in him was evident when Realistic teams arrived on time and straight to task. They were highly professional, courteous, conscientious and caring. It was obvious they take pride in their work when repairing our structure making it better than previously installed. The two teams from Realistic were friendly, respectful and wanted to do a first class job. May we highlight Chris and Matthew were outstanding and could not do enough to ensure the replacement went smoothly. We were also taken back by their work ethic and ensured everything was clean and tidy. It is not often you get a first class service but we feel we have from Realistic. We cannot recommend Realistic enough!

We are delighted with the porch that Realistic provided, They were very helpful from the initial contact right through to the final completion of the project.. In spite of delays due to Covid they managed to keep to the time line initially agreed. Both the quality of the product and that of the workmanship is first class at a very competitive price. We would not hesitate to recommend Realistic.
