We were very impressed with the initial consultation, the computer programme showed us what the new room would look like, and we could add glass in the roof where we wanted. We are pleased that we opted for the larger panes of glass as it now provides us a better view of the garden in particularly, the bird table. The new room is usable all year round, which it wasn’t before. The finish product is to a high-quality professional standard, it’s very modern in comparison to the old one. The project wasn’t completely smooth sailing, there were issues along the way, but they have always come back and sorted them out. A couple of people have been around to look at the finished job, we are very happy to recommend.

I know that we made the right decision as the room is just like we saw in the brochures, it’s exactly what we wanted. This is a proper room and doesn’t suffer with the problems that the old conservatory did, it no longer gets too hot or too cold and it’s much quieter especially in the rain. When it has been cold outside the new radiant heaters have kicked into effect and taken the chill off the room. The fitters were great with an exceptional eye for detail. My only minor complaint would be I would have preferred more communication and to have been told officially when the work was complete.

We wanted Roc door like our daughter, she had brought hers from Realistic and it was perfect. We liked the security it offered, being made of metal inside. We had the door fitted by a wonderful young man, who halfway through the procedure found a defect on the door. Which meant we could not keep that door. A new door was ordered to replace this one, no problem. The new one arrived, and a different fitter came to install the new door. The door looks lovely and people walking past have commented how nice it looks. But just lately it has started to catch on the bottom, and we are having to have someone to come out and have a look at it. Hopefully it will be all sorted shortly. But besides that, the door is fantastic, and we have had good service throughout our involvement with Realistic. I have told many people where the door has come from, I have no problem recommending Realistic in the further.

We had all of our doors and windows changed in January 2019. From start to finish the service we received from Realistic Home Improvements was excellent. Ryan was helpful, patient and provided us with plenty of choices to allow my wife and to come an informed decision concerning finish/look/style etc. The installation was planned and scheduled and the process of ordering and then installing went off without a hitch. The installation was carried out by Paul and Kadon, and their attitude and approach was outstanding. They worked well as a team and Paul’s attention to detail and finish is commendable. After inheriting draughty, poor quality, poorly fitted windows when we bought the house, it’s great to finally have windows that look great and are extremely well fitted. We took our time to decide on Realistic, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Realistic team to anyone. We have had a lot of great comments from neighbours and passers by and couldn’t be happier with the quality and finish of the doors and windows. A big thank you to all at Realistic, their after sales care has also been excellent.

The fitters were very nice, we had total confidence in them, nothing was too much trouble. The products are good, and we have gained a much brighter room, and best still is that it no longer leaks. furthermore we are happy with the glazing design which Ryan advised us, the larger glass panels gives us unobstructed views of the garden. 5 star performance and will happily recommend to too others.

We adore our new space it makes the house brighter and lighter. We sit in it all the time. The guys that came to install it were fantastic and very professional. The product is well made, and we love the colour. The room is used more than any other in the house. Our only gripe was the office communication. Not quite good enough. They did not keep us in the picture as much as we would have liked. Hence 4 stars.

We knew what type of roof we wanted and found only 2 people offering it in Plymouth. So, we had both people out to give quotes. One was a bit pushy telling us what we wanted and what would look good without us having our say. Ryan was not like that at all, he explained, listened, spend time with us drawing pictures on his computer. We then went over to Saltash to see the conservatories on display. That was great to visualize what ours would be like when finished. The fitters that came were good, very clean and worked well together. It didn’t seem to take very long to get it all up and looking good. The product is very well made, we love the grey colour it matches our windows. We use the new conservatory more than we use any other room in the house. It can be lovely and cool on hot summer days and toasty warm in the winter. We always eat out there when the grandchildren come. My husband loves to watch the birds. So so glad we had a conservatory fitted, wouldn’t be without it now.

We had a 20-year-old conservatory, hot in the summer, cold in the winter so we contacted Ultra frame and they told us to contact Realistic. They were great, very helpful and sent Ryan round to give us a quote. He was very knowable and spent a long time explaining to us oldies all the new shiny things we could have. Like glass that is blue to keep the strong sun out, self-cleaning glass, bigger getting the list goes on and on. The fitters were lovely chaps and worked very hard in the bad weather to get everything done in time. They tried their best to keep everything dry, they were clean and tidy and very polite. I would have them back any time. The conservatory is beautiful, light, airy and very modern. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We live in a very old house and needed a small back door leading out into the garden. The salesman that came was very helpful, we chose a full-length glass door. It is well made and the fitters that came were very knowable. The service from start to finish has been very good.

I wanted to use a local company and felt very confident after I had spoken to Realistic that they would do a good job and I was not wrong. The door is beautiful, works like a dream and looks very stylish. It is very in keeping with the property, I’m so pleased I chose a stable door instead of a normal door. I often have the top open, it did need adjusting not long after it was fitted and I was told it may do this, but back they came very quickly and perfection.
