We were so pleased with every aspect of our new conservatory from Realistic. Everyone was kind, helpful and efficient and the end result excellent. Would heartily recommend this company and their products.

We had a front porch put in in August 2021 and are very pleased with the results. The porch has a tinted glass roof, which so far in the heat of August (such as we've had!) has kept the porch relatively cool. It is light and airy, and provides much needed space for coats and shoes. They started the work exactly when they said they would, were very professional and hard-working, as well as friendly. They tidied up well, and addressed a few snagging issues promptly with no hassles. My only reservation is that communication along the way was not what it could be. I had to contact them at each stage to find out when they were going to start the next stage. However, I have given 5 stars as when I raised this issue at the end, I received a very polite response from Jen, apologising and promising to pass my comments on and make sure improvements were made in this area.

Initially we were a bit worried that the room would be dark as we didn’t put any glass in the roof area, but it isn’t and we are now very glad that we didn’t. Having a solid roof has made a massive difference this summer as it never got too hot, it really is a proper room now and no longer a conservatory. We got a few quotes, some people frightened us as they just wanted to do a bodge job, where as Ryan filled us with confidence as he genuinely knew what he was talking about. The fitters were nice and did a good job. We have already recommend Realistic to other as we are so happy.

Having completed my due diligence in obtaining 3 quotation I placed my order with Realistic, they were not the cheapest, in fact, if I remember correctly they were the most expensive but I felt their overall quality to be better, I liked Ryan’s straight forward approach, and the computer images really helped us see what the room could look like. Initially, I was looking to replace the polycarbonate roof only, but I am so pleased we replaced the lot, as we love it. The new room is in a different league to then original, with the glass roof proving to be much cooler over the summer period. Paul the installer was fantastic, I cannot speak highly enough of him as well as Dan the electrician. I can’t give 5* as there has been some remedial works that have had to take place after the installation, but then again they do come back to put things right.

My advice to anyone thinking about replacing their glass roof to a solid one is to do it, it’s a no brainer. The room is probably used more than any other in the house, as it’s no longer too hot or too cold. Our only complaint is the plasterers had to come back and put right some of their work, but the rest is fine, we are definitely glad that we have had it done. Like most people we obtained 3 quotes, deciding on Realistic as the others didn’t fill us with much confidence, as well as my wife doing her online research and due diligence

Over the past couple of years we commissioned Realistic Home Improvements to install first, new external doors and then windows in our home. The advice given in choosing suitable doors combined with the complete absence of “hard sell” and a reasonable price for high quality units convinced us to use Realistic to install windows a year later. On both occasions the quoted price for the job was not the lowest but it most certainly wasn’t the most expensive and it represented the best value for money. Ryan managed our expectations very well explaining costs and timings of each installation as well as the expected performance and limitations of the final product. Given that both jobs were completed during a pandemic, in awful weather, on time, to budget and to a high standard is to the credit of the staff at Realistic who clearly take great pride in their work. The benefits of using directly employed fitting staff rather than contractors was also well-demonstrated. Post-installation support has been excellent. There have not been many problems but the odd snag we have encountered has been dealt quickly and efficiently. An excellent experience from start to finish - highly recommended. Thank you.

I called Ultra frame and they gave me Realistic name as the improved installers for our area. I looked them up and the rep came around. He was a nice chap no pressure selling, we had drawings, and the price was very competitive. We did not realize that the old poly carb roof blocked out so much light. This glass roof is so much better and being able to see the trees and sky is wonderful. The amount of light that now comes into the dining is amazing. Also, the heat from the conservatory travels all over the house. We are pleased that we chose to change the roof and pleased Realistic did it for us.

We went online and chose 3 companies, I looked at all the reviews and had all 3 companies’ come out and see me. One I dismissed as he showed on interest in my design. Realistic designed exactly what I wanted, and we went ahead. I couldn’t find the design I wanted on the website because I wanted different to everybody else. It took longer than expected to finish as it rained constantly but the fitters were wonderful and worked through it. The builder got soaked most days, but the result is stunning, we love it. I wanted somewhere to sit and read and that’s what I got. It warm even when the sun is not shinning. We are looking at having more work on our property and I have already asked if Realistic will come and quote.

We had researched what type of roof we wanted and Realistic came and priced it. Their quote was good. The fitters were great, it took 3 guys to lift the beams down the sides of the conservatory. Its very well made. We have a triangle window on the end of the conservatory and this was originally made at the wrong angle so we had to wait 2 weeks for another one to be made, that was annoying but when it was put in and the roof on we were able to move on. People comment on how well made this product is and how warm it is. We now use this space as a dinning room and it is great sitting out there at night with the LED’s on relaxing.

We were very impressed with the CAD drawing that were produced for us. It was great to see what it would look like before we decided to go ahead. The roof looks superb. It is quieter, warmer and looks very smart. The guys that came to fit it were polite, very tidy and respected our home. We had an issue with the guttering just after it was finished, we called the office and the next day they sent 2 fitters over and they sorted the problem very quickly. We were very impressed. If we had known that you can buy glass that cleans itself and glass that is blue and keeps the heat in, we would have changed the roof sooner. We are looking forward to the summer and spending many evenings out there. We would use Realistic again without a shadow of a doubt and we would recommend them all day long. We now use the conservatory all the time were before it was too cold and never went in there.
